TSG and Chargepoly join forces to provide state-of-the-art charging solutions for Volvo Trucks customers

Specialists in electric charging solutions for transport and logistics, TSG and Chargepoly have sealed a strategic partnership to meet the needs of Volvo Trucks customers.

TSG, a Volvo Trucks referenced partner since 2023, is a European leader in the installation and maintenance of charging infrastructures. TSG supports companies at every stage of their electric mobility projects. With over 39,000 charging points installed across Europe, TSG Charge has proven its expertise and know-how.

For its part, Chargepoly is an international engineering and technology company that has developed a complete recharging offer for electric trucks. For several years now, it has been successfully deploying its hardware and software solutions in logistics hubs for the electrification of ZFE collection-distribution and delivery operations. Its DC fast-charging station, 100% designed and manufactured in France, has been qualified by the Volvo Group.

By combining their skills, TSG and Chargepoly offer a turnkey solution perfectly suited to electric transport fleets, including design, installation, maintenance, digital services and infrastructure financing. Thanks to this partnership, Volvo Trucks customers will benefit from free studies including a technical visit, a quote submitted within a month, and the assurance of controlled lead times.

Financially, the two companies will also support Volvo Trucks customers in obtaining available public subsidies, including a 130-million-euro aid package for the acquisition of electric trucks, the terms of which for 2024 are currently being finalized, as well as the Advenir program for subsidizing depot recharging infrastructures. Volvo Trucks customers will be able to pay their recharging costs in full monthly over a period of up to 72 months by leasing their station (partnership with BNP Paribas).

“This collaboration offers our customers a comprehensive and proven solution to optimize their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). What’s more, we’re proud to be participating with the Volvo Group in the development of the new technologies industry in France,” says Thomas VANQUAETHEM, Deputy Managing Director of Chargepoly.

Laurent DANHYER, Business Manager Electric Mobility TSG France, adds: “By joining forces with this partnership, we can accelerate the development of charging infrastructures and promote sustainable solutions for the future of our Volvo Trucks customers.”

“We are convinced that this partnership with TSG and Chargepoly will play a key role in strengthening our position in the electric truck market and contribute to achieving our customers’ sustainability goals. We remain committed to being at the forefront of innovation in the electric transport sector,” concludes Thomas GAY, Charging Offer Manager at Volvo Trucks.
