Chargepoly unveils compact charging station for electric rigids and trucks

Just 6 days before the Solutrans trade show, the biennial event dedicated to road and urban transport professionals, Chargepoly presents a new ultra-fast electric charging station. Available from March 1, 2024, this powerful yet compact solution is designed to facilitate the recharging of electric rigids and trucks in logistics warehouses.

Next Tuesday, the Solutrans trade show opens its doors at the Eurexpo Lyon convention and exhibition center. For four days, the major players in the transport sector will be showcasing their latest technological innovations. Among the exhibitors at this 2023 event is Chargepoly, a specialist in ultra-fast electric charging solutions. The Aix-based company will be unveiling a brand-new charging station for straight trucks and heavy goods vehicles.

A unique solution on the market

The new bollard presented by Chargepoly can be installed on a wide range of structural elements: walls, posts in parking lots, gantries, shades… for example, in warehouses where space is at a premium. Fixed between two loading bays (photo), this small bollard (800 mm high x 300 mm wide x 240 mm thick) is an ideal solution for recharging electric trucks during loading and unloading operations in logistics warehouses. Another advantage is that it’s quick and easy to install, and particularly well-suited to environments where it’s technically impossible or expensive to dig up the ground. It makes maneuvering easier for drivers, minimizes the risk of collisions and perfectly meets on-site safety requirements. Available from March 1, 2024, this new terminal delivers power of up to 400 kW.

“This new, more compact charging station is a response to the operating constraints of logistics service providers and hauliers. Thanks to it, we can now offer them a unique solution on the market for quickly and easily recharging their truck fleets,” emphasizes Hadi Moussavi, President, and Founder of Chargepoly.
