Chargepoly powers one of Quebec’s largest electrified commercial fleets, demonstrates effectiveness for long-distance goods transport

Granby, QC, Canada — Nationex, Fize Électrique, and Chargepoly have partnered to power one of Quebec’s largest electric commercial fleets. This collaboration marks a major step toward sustainable logistics in the region, setting a new standard for fleet electrification across Canada. Nationex, a leader in parcel delivery, recently surpassed 1 million zero-emission parcels delivered, using heavy-duty electric vehicles supported by Chargepoly’s cutting-edge charging solutions. The fleet operates over long distances (up to 250 km) and ensures last-mile delivery—even in harsh winter conditions—proving the reliability of electric vehicles (EVs) for logistics operations.

The project is part of the Québec-Montréal Corridor Vert initiative, a provincial program aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by electrifying key transport corridors. This public-private partnership improves air quality along major routes while promoting greener economic growth across Quebec and neighboring Ontario.

A key factor in Nationex’s success is Chargepoly’s high-power charging technology, designed specifically for medium- and heavy-duty electric vehicles. Known for its efficiency and reliability, Chargepoly’s solution minimizes charging times and maximizes vehicle uptime, helping logistics fleets maintain smooth operations.

“When we began our electrification journey, we were told it wouldn’t work due to long distances and harsh weather conditions,” said Edwin Richard, Director of Special Projects and Sustainable Development at Nationex. “Fize Électrique introduced us to Chargepoly for their superior technology and seamless integration. Since the installation, our drivers have experienced a smooth transition to EVs thanks to the reliability of this charging solution. We’re confident that Chargepoly will help us achieve our goal of electrifying 80% of our transport routes between Montreal and Ontario by next year.”

Laurent Guyon, CEO of Chargepoly America, added: “This project highlights the power of collaboration. Together, we’ve proven that cost-effective, sustainable logistics is possible—even in challenging conditions. This success can serve as a model for the entire transportation sector in North America.”

Chargepoly’s 400 kW charging units are built for the long haul, ensuring reliable power in all weather conditions. Beyond installation, Chargepoly offers long-term support through ongoing optimization, operations, and maintenance services. The company’s investment in local manufacturing in the USA and Canada further underscores its commitment to sustainable growth and local economic development.

As the electrification of long-distance fleets gains momentum, Nationex, Fize Électrique, and Chargepoly continue to push boundaries and set new standards for sustainable logistics. Their shared vision is helping build a greener, more efficient future for the transportation sector—one electrified mile at a time.
