SGVI, a Renault Trucks dealer of the Renaudeau Group, confirms its role as a pioneer in the energy transition with the commissioning of an electric charging station at its Lisieux site. Carried out in collaboration with Chargepoly, this state-of-the-art infrastructure anticipates the growing needs for electric mobility, both for the group's fleet and for its customers.
Composed of five Renault Trucks dealerships spread across Eure, Eure-et-Loir, and Calvados, the Renaudeau Group has been working for nearly 60 years in the distribution, maintenance, and repair of industrial vehicles. In a context of increasingly demanding regulations and changing customer expectations, the group is continuing its investment in infrastructure adapted to electric vehicles in order to obtain e-Tech labeling. This process, launched by Renault Trucks, makes it possible to guarantee the maintenance and repair of Renault Trucks electric vehicles throughout the country. To obtain this certification, the distributor must comply with strict specifications, including the installation of charging stations, the training of technicians, and the acquisition of the necessary tools. SGVI Lisieux, like SGVI Évreux and Le Poids Lourd Drouais Vernouillet, fully meets these requirements.
The new station, installed by Chargepoly, includes a power cabinet (Power Unit) and two charging satellites each delivering power up to 200 kW. Designed for private use, it allows the recharging of demonstration vehicles as well as future electric vehicles of the group.
« This station meets an emerging need and prepares our transition to sustainable solutions, » says Benoît Broussais, Operational Director of SGVI Évreux, Lisieux & Louviers. Designed to anticipate market changes, it is part of a global strategy to support customers in their transition to electric.
The infrastructure, the result of close collaboration with Chargepoly, also meets the technical and operational requirements necessary to sustainably support the changing activities of the Renaudeau Group. « Chargepoly’s architecture immediately convinced us with its flexibility and its ability to meet the current and future needs of our business, » emphasizes Benoît Broussais.
This project strengthens the Renaudeau Group’s position as a committed player in sustainable mobility, serving its customers and the environment.
The Renaudeau Group invites its partners and customers to discover this innovative infrastructure and to engage in the energy transition today.
